National and International Relations of Kathmandu Metropolitan City
The Secretariat of International Relations operates directly under the Leadership of Kathmandu Metropolitan City for international relations and affairs. This Secretariat is continuously active in strengthening ties with cities that have established formal sister-city relationships, as well as with various international organizations where this metropolis holds membership, while working to expand international-level relations. Additionally, the Secretariat identifies, provides, and takes initiative to secure international-level opportunities—such as workshops, seminars, study tours, training, and capacity building—for employees working at the metropolitan city and for its residents.
